I was very excited after entering the forest for the first time and enjoyed the company of my team members. The topic during the visit was tracks and signs. I was very eager to know what birds we are going to track and watch and the way to track them. It was interesting to track the birds by their call. By scrutinizing the dropping we found that the bird was probably a Grey Jungle fowl. As instructed we were asked to look for droppings by going in a different route and we were able to find one dropping. It was herbivore droppings as it contained grass. I look forward to more exciting visits in the coming classes and hope to see wild animals. – Prajwal.V, 7C
